REFERENCE
 
	
 
	- Select NEW MAIL button. 
	 
- "Inbox" folder window (by default) displays current messages.
	 
- To scroll use elevator button on left side of folder screen OR place 	cursor in text and use arrow keys.
	 
- Select NEXT button to view next message. 
	 
- Select PREVIOUS button to view previous message. 
 
NOTE:  When you have new mail, an Alert message will 
appear at top of your screen "(no.) messages waiting".  By depressing  "NEW MAIL", VAlert message will disappear and "Inbox folder" will now be displayed. The displayed message will be the first unread message.
If there is more than one new message the letter "U"  (means unanswered) will appear before message(s). After clicking on message, the "U"  will disappear and your new message appears.  
Text is entered in free form, words wrap from one line to the next automatically.  The enter key is only used at the end of paragraphs.  Simply use the mouse or the arrow keys to position the cursor - to set the cursor in position click the left mouse button.

NOTE: Deselect all text by single clicking the RIGHT mouse button. Paste text by single clicking MIDDLE mouse button.
	
Cut Text

Start Spellcheck by placing cursor at point you wish to begin spell check. 
 
SETTINGS (Pull Down Menu):

 begins check at start of message
- Correct All
	
 will automatically correct all occurances of string
- Ignore 
	
 ignores word this time only

-  Select REPLY/FORWARD/COMPOSE: 
REPLY  
Fields contain "sender's name", "classification" of message as
well as "subject".  Classification field  can be changed in "User Preference" Window or by deleting and typing in. Subject field can be changed by highlighting (drag) or placing cursor on text and "deleting".  
  
FORWARD  
  
Fields contain message's subject and classification (can be
modified as above).  
COMPOSE  
  
All fields are blank except for classification which can be
changed by selecting "User Preference".  
 
 
-  To select recipient from database, place cursor in "To" Field
and select "NUAD/LIST". Click on your choice or type directly into field. 
	Receiving 
	- Attachments along with numbers appear at bottom of screen.
	
- From this screen you can save attachment(s) to any location.
	
- You can view attachment by clicking "View" button. Source 			will be activated (eg. WP, CorelDraw, etc.). You can now modify, save 			and close document.You will then return to "Attachment Window".
	
Forwarding 
	- When forwarding a new attachment you have several format options as 		indicated under "Attachment Format".
	
- If you wish to forward only attachments, choose "Edit and Clear 			Message".
Adding 
	- Simply click on "Add". You will then be prompted to 				"Select a File". 
Deleting
 
	- Highlight attachment to be deleted and then click on 				"Delete".
  
	- Replies and Forwards retain classification from the previous 		note.  
	
- when composing a new message, choose classification from the 			"Select...menu".  
 
 Note: If you try to send message without a classification, a pop up 	error message will appear.  The compose window will not disappear.
This database contains all EMail user IDs. All users must be registered in NUAD. Database is kept on the Postoffice, with copies distributed to all authorized mailservers. 
Some fields contained in this database can be updated by users while others are restricted to local EMail Adminstrators.
You can access list of User IDs from Compose Menu:

Note:  "Select" allows you to create a personal list of frequently used IDs (refer to"Add to Select Menu").
This database contains all the distribution list contained within the Post Office. Database is kept on the Postoffice. Anyone can create a list. Local EMail Administrators can update this list plus any users that are listed in the owner field.

	- This menu displays a list of folders to open. 
	
- At end of list is "Other...". This allows you to open a 			folder  that is not listed in menu. 
  
 
 
 
	- Click on "Other" and open "Folder Management" to sub 				menu "Create new folder".  
	
- Prompts you for name of folder to create. 
	
-  Under "Open Folder" you will now see your new folder. 
 
 
	
	 Move to New Folder
  
	- Click on message that you wish to move.  
	
-  Click on "Move". 
 	
- "Open Folder" and choose destination folder. 
	
- The letter "D" will appear before message indicating that
	message(s) has been deleted. 
 	
- Now when you open destination folder your moved messages will
	appear.
	
- When you open "inbox" folder you will no longer see the moved
	message(s). 
  
 
 
 Copy to New Folder
  
	- Click on message that you wish to copy 
	
-  Click on "Copy". 
	
- List of folders is displayed. 
	
- Choose your destination.  
	
- Now when you open destination folder your moved copy will
	be displayed. 
 
 
 Delete Folder(s) 
 
	-  Will prompt you to name folder that you wish to delete. 
	
- If folder is not empty "Attention" prompts you to 				confirm your deletion. 
  
 
 
 
 
 Empty
  
	- This function will delete all messages from your selected folder
	(cannot be retrieved). 
  
 Rebuild
 
	- This function will update/refresh folder menus.  
	
- Use this function after using "move/copy/change" command or 			after creating new sub directories.  
 Note:  When deleting or creating new folders, this function will
automatically operate.
 
 
	 Select Message by Header String
	-  Will prompt you to type in variable string.  
	
- There is no limit to number of characters in your string (first
	+ second +  third....characters). 
	
- Characters are case sensitive. 
 
 
 
 
	- This function will allow you  to forward a number of messages to
	one individual. 
	
- When choosing this function, you will be prompted to type in
	recipient's name. 
	
- You will then be prompted to enter "Subject". 
	
- You will next be prompted to enter a "comment".
 
 
 
Attention! 
ERROR: Please take off your Lock button.  
 
- CAPS are left "ON".  Release and click on "OK" and close.
